About Me

My name is Samantha, and I am the owner of Samantha Jean’s Pet Service, LLC.

Taking care of and handling animals has been a passion of mine ever since the age of seven, after I was introduced to horse back riding. That instant love of horses eventually led me into a career of managing horse farms and teaching riding lessons. It was during this time that I was exposed to handling and caring for other types of animals as well. After attending an equestrian college, I started working in an emergency animal hospital. On the side, I was also working at a dog boarding facility. I eventually decided to work for myself, which led me into growing my own dog walking and pet sitting business.

Having over 20 years of experience handling animals, I can confidently say that I am very comfortable with caring for each animals’ specific needs. I believe that each animal is unique and can teach you something. I truly love what I do and can’t imagine doing anything else.

-Canine and feline CPR/First Aid certified through Pet Emergency Education, LLC (June 20, 2019)

-Member of "NAPPS" National Association of Professional Pet Sitters.
